About Mindy
Mindy is a youth-led organization committed to raising mental health awareness, offering emotional support, and building resilience among young people. We work to make mental health resources and guidance accessible to all, particularly youth, by equipping them with the tools they need to face mental health challenges. Through impactful programs and partnerships, Mindy strives to create a world where mental well-being is prioritized and no one is left alone in their struggles.

About Mind First Project
Mind First is an initiative by Mindy aimed at providing young people (ages 14-20) in Bangladesh with essential Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) skills. Supported by the UNESCO Global Youth Grant funded by SEVENTEEN’s #GoingTogether campaign, the project addresses youth mental health challenges through awareness campaigns, peer support networks, and a sustainable train-the-trainer model. Mind First seeks to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, promote early intervention techniques, and foster resilient communities for long-term well-being.

Position Overview
As a Mind First Program Officer, you will have a vital role in the execution and management of project activities. You will be responsible for supporting the overall implementation of the program, including organizing and facilitating MHFA training, community outreach, and ensuring the development of peer support networks. • Monitor program progress, gather feedback, and provide reports on activity effectiveness.

  • Optionally travel within Dhaka or outside Dhaka to participate in project-related activities (travel is not mandatory).

Qualifications

  • College-level students or university first- and second-year students.

  • A strong passion for mental health, youth empowerment, and social change.
